INFLUENCE SOME DERIVATIVE PYRIDINE N-OXIDE ON MITOCHONDRIAL MEMBRANES IN RAT LIVER AT SUBCHRONIC ADMINISTRATION

O.Р. Zhminko

The effect of a plant growth regulators — derivative pyridine N-oxide — ivin and triman on mitochondrial membranes of Wistar rat hepatocytes have been studied. Ivin was administered per os daily for 3 months in doses of 13, 1,3, 0,13, 0,013 mg/kg and triman was administered per os daily for 3 months in doses of 30, 3, 0,3, 0,03 mg/kg (1/100, 1/1000, 1/10000 и 1/100000 DL50, accordingly). It`s established, both compounds can change the membrane permeability, autoregulation and oxidation-reduction processes in mitochondria due to the decrease of intensity of lipid peroxidation, the increase of the passive swelling of mitochondria and the change of marker mitochondrial enzymes activity. The revealed changes do not seem to depend on a dose and time of administration.
