V.A. Stezhka, Yu.P. Melnik

95 men were investigated. The results showed the activation of free radical oxidation (FRO) and lipid peroxidation process (LPP) in the non-working patients with chronic lead intoxication (CLI). This effect was connected with the deficiently antioxidant system of the organism. In the glass manufactured workers (PCL) and agriculture machine operators (AMO), which had professional contact with lead, were observed decrease of FRO and LPP, as result of the blood plasma lipid structure disorders and peroxidation substrations deficient. Membrano-toxicity effects of the lead on hepatocytes were discover in all examined persons. The toxicity injury of liver parenchyma and decrease of protein synthesis lever were established in the CLI and AMO.
