EFFECT OF "METAVIT" ON DETOXICATION IN LIVER OF ACETAMINOPHEN-TREATED RATS V.N. Kovalenko, A.K. Voronina, E.S.Voloshina, Yu.M. Parkhomenko Effect of "Metavit" on biotransformation of acetaminophen 0,5 LD50 in rat male has been studied. It has been shown that acetamminophen administrated perorally in toxic dose decreases monooxygenase activity and glutathion-mediated biotransformation in rat liver. Simultaneous administration of both acetaminophen and Metavit has significant effect on the studied valuesexceeding the preparation for comparison (methionine). |
