WAYS OF STUDY OF ACTION MECHANISMS OF SUPERLOW DOSES OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE PRODUCTS

As of now, there are no universal scientifically proved theories of mechanisms of ultra-small concentrations (10^-12—10^-17 M) of biologically active and medicinal substances, that have effects similar to their large concentrations. The issue — related findings of the last decade are undoubtedly of great interest.
The author reviews some hypotheses that explain high sensitivity of organisms to micro- doses as well as gives the results of the researches of various types of complex substances done in different experimental models.
The works reviewed deal, to some extent, with a problem of sanitary standardization of poisons, biologically-active substances, biologically-active supplements and drugs that should be done with knowledge of their safe concentrations.
