NEW APPROACHES IN THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM OF IODINE DEFICIENCY DISEASES'LIQUIDATION

Problem of iodine provision of the population living at the territories of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia contaminated with radionuclides and endemic by iodine, selenium and other microelements is still unsolved. Use of special foodstuffs and BAA with sea algae enriched with iodine, complex of microelements and vitamines is advisably for the prophylaxis of iodine deficiency diseases, especially in the critical groups of population (pregnants, nursing mothers and children).
