CONDITION NITRATE CADMIUM INTOXICATION AT ANIMALS AND PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF ECHINACEA PURPUREA TINCTURE

T.I. Kmet, L.I. Vlasik

A more pronounced neuroprotective effect, stabilization of hemoglobin level and decrease of methemoglobinemia in animals with a rapid type of acetylation have been established by prophylactic usage of echinacea purpurea tincture by nitrate-cadmium intoxication. The usage of echinacea purpurea tincture against the bachground of nitrate-cadmium intoxication proved to be accompanied by the increase in the level of secondary products of liver lipoperoxidation in pubertal rats with various types of acetylation. It was shown that prophylactic usage of the phytopreparation by natrium nitrate and cadmium chloride action in animals with slow type of acetylation is accompanied by the increase of ceruplasmin content, while in rapid acetylators — on the contrary, its content decreases with simultaneons lowering of catalase, glutathione activity and by the increase glutathione-S-transferase.
