NEW POSSIBILITIES OF DECREASING ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE OF UKRAINIAN POPULATION IN CASE OF USING MICROBIAL BIOPREPARATIONS AS BIOLOGIC ACTIVE SUPPLEMENT (BAS)

The article contributes to the actuality of the problem of alcohol and drug abuse in Ukraine and in the world. It is shown that the situation has reached the hazardous scale and can lead to degeneration of the Ukrainian nation so it must be handled at the level of national security. The stages of the development of alcoholism, physiological, biochemical and psychological aspects of appearance and development of the alcoholism as disease are examined. The report contains contemporary scientific consumptions of the mechanism of the beginning and development of alcohol addiction within the microorganisms. Physiological effects of alcoholism on human health are introduced. The question "why normal people become alcoholics" is raised.

Also new Ukrainian inventions contributing to alcoholism cure, and the curative and economic prospects of implementation of the research on anti-alcoholic preparation are described.
