ESTIMATION OF RISK OF PHYTOREGULATORS EXPOSURE (ACCORDING TO DATA OF SHORT-TERM TOXICOLOGICAL EXPERIMENT)

A.A. Asmangulyan

A standard toxicological experiment was carried out to set complex hygienic norms/standards for a number of phytoregulators in environmental media. The toxicological experiment was carried out on a number of compounds of different chemical structure (EBF, Biferan, A-1, etc.; about 11 preparations in total). The investigation was performed in accordance with a complete program, which allowed to estimate traditionally known parameters of toxicometry, as well as to estimate the value of acceptable daily intake (ADI). The analysis of revealed parameters of toxicometry demonstrated that all the studied compounds refered to compounds of low toxicity and low cummulation (Kcum>5).

Alongside with this, a strong correlation was established between some parameters of toxicometry (in particular, correlation between the threshold of specific effect) and the value of ADI.

The changes of biomarkers at the level of acute specific thresholds were of no accidental character, but played a definite role in formation of chronic intoxication and were limited in the establishment of threshold and no-effect levels (NOELs) of chronic effect.

The above mentioned creates objective preconditions for development of approaches on predicting the value of ADI according to data of short-term toxicological experiment.
